Mr. Senger was a wonderful father-in-law to-be. I will miss him all the time.

I had the honor of knowing Mr. Senger since meeting Jenny back in 1976. We were neighbors. As we grew up behind the Sengers there were many memories I remember. My mother would tell our dog "Quick Quick to go potty" and Mr. Senger would always joke saying it would make him want to go to the bathroom. We didn't have "Normal Dogs" as my father would say. Ours were not watch dogs or normal. They were spoiled and didn't act like dogs. Our dog Buffy would rather blow up than go to the bathroom. Mr. Senger would take their dog PugsyAnne on walks, and 1/2 way throug the walk (because Mr. Senger walked several miles a day) he would have to carry their dog back home. She coudln't keep up. My father would tease him as we would see him carrying the dog under his arm on Edge Hill during their walk. He was suppose to be taking the dog for a walk and yet it was he who was carrying the dog. Other memories I have were every day in the summer around 4pm Mr Senger and Michael would drive to Crestmont Pool/park. Sometimes we would take us or we would already be there. They would play tennis and eventually end up at the pool to cool down. Mr. Senger and Michael would play with Jenny, my sister and I in the pool. He would dunk us and chase us in the pool. They also played at Abington H.S. tennis courts, I have picture from that day as we were watching them play. Often when I went over Jenny's, Mr. Senger would be tending bar in their basement and playing cards. He was always smiling and in a good mood. I don't ever remember him being mad or yelling. Even when we slept over, he wouldn't get mad at our staying up late and making noise. He had a favorite chair in the living room where he watched TV....he always smiled and said hi as I entered. Always joking around with us. He would always said hello when he was outside and was always smiling and friendly. He will be grately missed by me and others.

Mrs. Senger, Jen, Michael & Family I am truly sorry for your loss. Mr Senger was a caring person. Always teasing and always smiling. He always made me feel welcome to their house. I have many fond memories of Mr. Senger. He will truly be missed by me and several others. My prayers and thoughts are with you. He was taken too soon! But he will definitely be one of the angels looking down upon you.

Mike and I met in 1962 when we were both trolley operators at Woodland Depot. We retired about the same time, and shared many stories and pictures over the years via e-mail. He will be missed by many. Ed

Dear Jenn & The Senger Family......My wife and I would like to extend our heart felt condolences to you and your family. Mike was my friend and he always brought a smile to anyone he touched. He was a colleague of mine at Septa and we shared many happy experiences together. Our prayers are with you. Jenn , I know that Mike is now resting and in a better place.
